DINARIC ALPS
Triangle: Kosovo, Montenegro & Albania
from 01 to 07 July 2012
The goal of the expedition “Discover Balkans Peaks” is to bring the mountaineers from all over the world in the Balkans in border triangle of Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania (Southeastern Europe), to exercise the freedom of access to mountains, promote the mutual tolerance and reach the highest point of the entire Dinaric Alps “Maja Jezercë”.
The Dinaric Alps form a mountain chain in Southern Europe, spanning areas of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro and the very attractive peak Maja e Jezerces 2694m is in Albania.
Date: 01 -07 July 2012
Place: The expedition will start in Kosovo (July 01-02) through Montenegro (July 03-04) and Albania (July 05-06) and will end in Kosovo (July 07).
